In this interview with local ABC Radio, Doug Robins talks about his experience of competing with his partner Lauren against able-bodied couples for housing in the open market. With a bit of grit, serendipity and hard work Doug and Lauren were able to find a solution. Doug and Lauren confronted real estate agents with problems like access and misleading descriptions of their properties, which in turn raised awareness of the severe shortage of disability housing.
